Travelling to Dubai? Enjoy AND get your FREEBIE too

The world is shrinking – or so it seems because  just about everyone seems to be tripping all over the world, be it to Paris, London, New York or even Dubai. And when you’re Single – you definitely take the opportunity to spread your wings and see more of what’s going  on in the rest of this exciting world.

Lately, well the last 20 years or so, the United Arab Emirates have definitely made their impact on the world – one way or another anyway, and this is the latest ‘piece de resistance’ I’ve discovered and thought I’d share it with you. So forget thinking about visiting some of the most famous landmarks everyone has talked about until now like your Eiffel Tower, Empire State Building, Tower of London, Sydney Opera House, Great Wall of China – do something different and visit Dubai and see this amazing Fountain – amongst other just as awesome ‘attractions’. What I have for you below is a  recording of the opening ceremony of the Dubai Fountain. Doesn’t sound much I know, but take a moment. You will enjoy this. It was dubbed as the most technologically advanced show.

A bit of extra trivia for you now:

  • The Dubai Fountain cost US$218 million.(Obscene, but there we go!)
  • Water jets can reach up to 50 storeys in height.
  • Plus, the fountain measures longer than two football fields at over 275 meters in length.
  • It is so impressive when it is in full display that it can be seen up to 200 miles away on a clear day.

So – Turn on your sound (I just love the music too) – sit back and enjoy! Click the picture below or the link itself and you will be taken to the Youtube clip.

Spectacular display competing with Bellagio in Las Vegas but LV is a far more friendly place to visit with very few restrictions for travellers… can even hold hands with your girlfriend, wife or significant other in LV……I think you can get arrested in Dubai for such heinous behaviour eh wot?…and as for that drink recommended by ShiSymbol…sex on the beach… way!

BTW…ever wondered why these fountains in Dubai and LV have been created in desert environments when fresh water is so priecious…. evaporation reigns …or is that rains?
