Today marks the beginning of a wonderful relationship between Dating Symbol and  the very talented Sasha Graham - aka The Tarot Diva. Sasha takes us on a journey to understand the meaning of the Tarot Cards and how they can apply to us. Sasha will also delve into the power of the Tarot Cards to guide us with questions that have been niggling at us, particularly in the love, romance and dating areas. SO, please, do put your questions forward for Sasha to answer for you here.

Tarot reflects all the facets of your life and personality. Tarot applies to anyone, anywhere. This in mind, Sasha Graham, Tarot Diva selects your personal card of the week . . .

Your card of the week for September 20th, 2010:

The Four of Swords

Tarot Card 4 of swords - Sasha Graham, www.datingsymbol.com

Love: Atlantic waters churn with hot hurricane action but love issues remain calm this week. Those in a long-term relationship can look forward to solid advice from their partner.  To those single and dating, rethink a matter you may be pushing too hard. Don’t put yourself on the line. Lie back and get comfortable, let your lover’s fingers do the walking . . .

Money: Economy be damned, you’ve made solid financial decisions. Now stop listening to fear mongers and take a break from financial worry. You’ve got the green you need. Drop some dollars on the highly anticipated sequel. Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps opening Friday Sept. 24th. Imagine you are as wealthy as Gordon Gekko . . . a little visualization goes a long way. Unlike Gordo, use your money to build rather than destroy. “Money itself isn’t lost or made, it’s simply transferred from one perception to another.” Gordon Gekko

Career: Could be the fallish chill in the air but you are working extra hard these last few weeks. Coast a smidge on the sweat equity you’ve earned. Look ahead to Saturday. Prep like you’re a VIP at your fave five star. Stock your fridge like a hotel mini bar (don’t forget the M &Ms), select an assortment of trash mags or a juicy novel. What to read? Take a cue from the effigy on the Four of Swords and pick up the fabulous “Death Becomes Them” by Alix Strauss. Your relaxation will pay off when you show up to work on Monday donning a relaxed glow.

The Diva dives deep to answer your questions . . .

Dear Tarot Diva,

I’ve noticed that when people find out I’m single they feel sorry for me & immediately start meddling in my business. They either try to set me up with someone, suggest I date online, or try to ‘fix’ the situation in some other way. Should I be ‘aggressively’ pursuing a relationship or should I let the ‘cards fall where they may?’

Aimee Frusciante – LA, California

Dear Aimee,

Your answer lies in The Magician . . .

Tarot Card - The Magician, Sasha Graham, www.datingsymbol.com

The Magician is a performer and performers often care too much what their audience thinks of them. If people feel sorry for you, that is their own personal issue, not yours. Sadly, our society often projects happiness in terms of “coupleness” or “marriage.”

The Magician says if you want to aggressively pursue a relationship, you will do so dynamically. The Magician won’t let things happen randomly, he’s too much in control of his performance. At the end of the day, it is a matter of where you want to direct your energy. Decide what you want for yourself and then go for it, regardless of what the masses say!

Take luck,

Sasha Graham, Tarot Diva
